Hose for acids and alkalis, anti-static MANICHEM MARBLE
Strong suction and discharge hose with an inner layer made of chemically resistant polyethylene with ultra-high molecular weight (UPE, UHMWPE), black and white MARBLE type, smooth, antistatic (R<106 Ω). The inner layer is resistant to most acids and bases as well as many other aggressive chemicals (at elevated but not very high temperatures), making the hose widely used in the chemical and petrochemical industries. The MARBLE type UPE inner layer also complies with food hose requirements, features a low friction coefficient during flow, and prevents medium deposition on the walls. This significantly facilitates cleaning and allows for use in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food industries as well. Reinforced with synthetic cord and steel spiral. The outer layer is made of chemically resistant EPDM rubber, antistatic (R < 106 Ω), abrasion-resistant, ozone-resistant, and weather-resistant. Compliant with EN 12115:11 requirements (type Ω/T, fully antistatic (R < 109 Ω) – ensures the dissipation of electrostatic charges through the hose walls, allowing use in all explosion hazard zones. Standards and requirements: Chemical hoses: EN 12115:2011 (type Ω/T). Food industry, contact with food (inner layer): 1935/2004/EC, 2023/2006/EC (GMP), 10/2011/EU, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (c), D.M. 21/03/73. Explosive atmospheres: ATEX directive (zones: 0, 1, 2, 20, 21, 22), EN 50014/ IEC 60079-0. Installation: use smooth fittings with a spigot (“tail” to the hose) without sharp or high ribs that could cut or damage the UPE inner layer when tightened. The spigot diameter should be precisely matched to the hose diameter to ensure tightness. Installation with clamp sleeves or band clamps. Inner layer: white-black UPE polyethylene. Confirmation of resistance and application conditions requires contact with Tubes International, especially for temperatures above 50°C. Inner layer: white-black UPE polyethylene. Reinforcement: synthetic cord, steel spiral. Outer layer: black EPDM rubber. Working pressure: from 12 bar to 16 bar – depending on the hose diameter. Operating temperature: from -35°C to +100°C.
