DYNAMIC® SAFE-TECH hose for highly flammable substances
High-quality suction and pressure hose “FULL OHM” completely antistatic (Ω/T), designed for the transfer of highly flammable and chemically aggressive substances. The inner layer is made of perfluoroalkoxy polymer PFA (fluoropolymer with properties similar to Teflon), antistatic (R<106 Ω), mirror-smooth, meeting high hygiene requirements (FDA, USP, European EU). Intermediate layers made of synthetic rubber, reinforced with synthetic cord and a steel wire spiral. The outer layer is MARBLE type (marbled), smooth, coated with polyethylene (UPE), antistatic (R<106 Ω), meeting FDA requirements, odorless and tasteless, resistant to abrasion, ozone and aging, chemicals, and short-term action of aggressive acids. An advantage of the MARBLE layer is its low friction coefficient – the hose glides and does not soil the surfaces it contacts, making it easy to clean. Excellent chemical resistance of PFA and antistatic properties of both the inner and outer layers (R<106 Ω) as well as across the wall of the hose (R<109 Ω) make the hose a costly but technically ideal solution for applications requiring the highest safety in all explosion hazard zones (ATEX). Used in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries, as well as in biotechnology. Not intended for sterilization in an autoclave. A version with additional built-in copper wires (M/T) is available on special order. Standards and requirements: Chemical hoses: EN 12115:2011. Confirmation of resistance and application conditions requires contact with Tubes International. Assembly: Use smooth fittings with a spigot (“tail” for the hose) that do not have sharp or high ribs that could cut or damage the inner layer of PFA when tightened. The diameter of the spigot should be precisely matched to the diameter of the hose to ensure tightness. Assembly with clamp sleeves or shell clamps. Inner layer: black PFA polymer. Reinforcement: synthetic cord, steel spiral. Outer layer: white-black UPE polyethylene, synthetic rubber. Working pressure: 10 bar. Vacuum: 0.9 bar. Operating temperature: from -35°C to +130°C.
