Lightweight, flexible suction and discharge hose intended for water, juices, beverages, and other food products. The absence of phthalates in the material allows the hose to be used for the transfer of milk and its derivatives, as well as alcohols with a concentration of up to 50% and temperatures up to +60°C. Not recommended for oils and fatty food substances. Reinforcement with a hard PVC spiral, resistant to impacts, ensures good resistance to vacuum and hose collapse. The transparent wall allows for easy visual monitoring of flow. The smooth inner surface reduces flow losses and ensures ease of cleaning. The outer surface of the hose is also smooth, facilitating the installation of fittings using tapes or clamps, reducing external damage from abrasion, and making it easier to keep the hose clean. In applications not involving direct contact with food (in industry, construction, agriculture), it can be used for light chemicals, water, sludges, and wastewater, other liquids (without fats, oils, and hydrocarbons), as well as for air, vacuum transfer of dust, powders, granules, and other lightly abrasive bulk substances (non-fatty). Abrasiveness and potential static electricity issues should be considered. As a hose reinforced only with a hard PVC spiral, lacking a braid, it exhibits some elongation under pressure, which should be taken into account in applications, especially at temperatures above +40°C.
