Is the Screw plug plug of brass quick-connector, type WSC compatible with standard WSC quick-connect couplings and does it protect against dust and impact damage?

Yes. The Screw plug plug of brass quick-connector, type WSC is compatible with standard WSC quick-connect couplings . itâs specifically designed as a plug cap for that coupling type. Made of brass, it provides protection against contamination (dust, dirt) and helps prevent impact damage to the coupling when itâs not in use.

Can Screw plug plug of brass quick-connector, type WSC be used to seal WSC couplings during storage and transport to prevent contamination and mechanical damage?

Yes. Screw plug plug of brass quick-connector, type WSC can be used to seal WSC couplings during storage and transport to prevent contamination and mechanical damage. The brass plug cap fits the coupling interface, providing a solid physical barrier against dirt, moisture and impact. It protects internal sealing surfaces and threads from mechanical wear and helps maintain cleanliness until installation. Ensure the plug is properly threaded and seated; inspect plugs for damage and compatibility with the specific WSC coupling model before use.

Does the Screw plug plug of brass quick-connector, type WSC provide a durable seal against moisture and debris?

Yes. The Screw plug plug of brass quick-connector, type WSC provides a durable seal against moisture and debris. Made of brass and designed specifically as a plug cap for a quick-connect coupling, it protects the coupling from contamination and damage. Brass offers good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, allowing the screw plug to maintain a secure fit and resist deformation over repeated use. When properly tightened, the threaded connection forms an effective barrier that prevents dust, dirt, and most moisture from entering the coupling. For maximum long-term sealing performance, ensure clean mating threads, use any recommended sealing element (e.g., an Oâring if supplied or thread sealant where appropriate), and avoid overâtightening or crossâthreading that could compromise the seal.
