Symmetrical reduction according to EN 10253-4A, stainless steel
Symmetrical reduction (concentric reducer) for butt welding for pressure applications made from seamless pipes, compliant with standard EN 10253-4 (stainless steel). With material certificate EN 10204 3.1. Commonly used in the industry for the construction of installations and pipelines, as components of complete welded ends for metal and rubber hoses (welded with threaded and flanged ends) and other fittings and valve components. Other sizes and materials are also available upon request, including reductions of more than two sizes DN and ASME reductions. For type A fittings (EN 10253-4A), the pressure strength may be slightly lower than for a straight pipe of the same diameter D and thickness T. The working pressure of the reducer can be determined using the pressure correction factor provided in the EN 10253 standards (for the specified sizes approximately 1.0 ÷ 0.9 of the pressure corresponding to the dimensions of the pipe). Other types of fittings for butt welding are available upon special request: 45° and 180° elbows, eccentric reducers, tees, end caps. Material: stainless steel AISI 321, AISI 316Ti. Working pressure: from 61 to 185 bar – depending on the diameter.
