TYGON® A 60-G universal temperature-resistant and peristaltic pump hose
Black flexible universal hose with exceptional resistance to aging, weather conditions, and ozone, with good chemical resistance. Resistant to temperatures in a wide range from -60°C to +135°C. Extremely flexible, elastic, with high fatigue resistance to deformation, resistant to abrasion. Excellent for use in peristaltic pumps. Used for transfer and dosing in industry and services, e.g., for dispensing soap and disinfectants, cleaning agents, caustic soda, etching and galvanizing chemicals, in glass and window washing systems, etc. The soft hose material (61° Shore (A)) is very flexible and provides excellent longevity of up to 1000 hours of operation in a peristaltic pump. The hose is an alternative to commonly used hoses made from traditional rubber blends such as EPDM and chloroprene. It has good chemical resistance to a range of chemicals, particularly acids and bases, oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, or ozone (300 pphm). Resistant to a variety of animal and vegetable fats. Not recommended for hydrocarbons. Resistant to aging and UV radiation. Characterized by low gas permeability compared to rubber hoses. Hose connection by welding is possible. The VACUUM version with thick walls is designed for continuous operation with vacuum and is resistant to cracking and aging. Full hose roll length: 15 m. Working pressure specified relative to burst pressure with a safety factor of 1:5. Material: norprene® – thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Maximum operating temperature: +135°C. Brittleness temperature: -60°C. Hardness: 61° Shore (A). Density: 0.98 g/cm³. Note: Product packaged in the Clean Room of Tubes International (CLEAN ROOM) adhering to strict standards. Return of the product after opening the packaging is not possible.
