Quick couplings and hoses for injection molds.

Quick couplings for injection molds, are used to connect cooling and heating channels in the mold with hoses supplying cooling water or heating medium.

Due to process requirements, these couplings have special features:

  • High flow rate – ensures rapid temperature equalization.
  • Small dimensions – they must fit into the mold plate recesses at high channel density.
  • Thermal resistance – they work with cooling water, glycol, hot oil.
  • Material: brass with Viton (FKM) seal – resistant up to +200°C.
  • Working pressures: up to a dozen bar.
  • Chemical resistance: to hot water, glycol, oil, fuels, and steam.

Available quick coupling variants:

Single shut-off – socket with valve.

Double shut-off – socket with valve and plug with valve.

Straight-through – sockets and plugs without valve (for installations where tightness is not critical).

In safety version – protection against accidental disconnection.

PUSH-ON self-clamping hoses

Innovative bandless design.

Universal self-clamping PUSH-ON hoses are a solution for those who want to speed up assembly or have limited space for mounting components. Made of rubber or plastics with a special braid structure, they allow for fitting installation without hose clamps.

Hoses for fuels.

Universal hoses for fuels and oils – general information

Universal hoses for fuels and oils for fuel and oil systems of vehicles and technical equipment, for low-pressure hydraulic systems, and various industrial applications. Inner layer made of PVC, PVC/NBR, NBR, Viton, and other rubber compounds. Reinforcement consists of textile braid or cord or external metal braid, and additionally a steel helix for suction-delivery hoses. In addition to general-purpose hoses, this group includes hoses for hot, oily air, for fuel installations of motorboats and yachts according to ISO 7840 requirements; bioester – diesel fuel from rapeseed oil (RME).

Steel hoses.

Steel hoses provide solutions for manufacturers and service centers that focus on reliability, safety, and durability. They are an indispensable choice in applications where rubber and plastics are not enough. Two main types of steel hoses are available in the range:

Stripwound steel hoses (compensating)

  • stripwound hoses are manufactured from metal strip by spirally winding profiled strip. Profiling ensures mutual interlocking of the edges, thanks to which the hose remains flexible while maintaining its structure. This type of hoses, thanks to its design, provides temperature resistance up to 650°C, and is also suitable for transporting, for example, exhaust gases, vapors, and bulk materials, operating under low pressure and vacuum, and as flexible protective sleeves for cables and installations.

Steel pressure hoses

  • flexible metal hoses and pressure assemblies are the solution where rubber and plastics simply cannot cope – high temperature, aggressive media, extreme pressure. They are manufactured by parallel or helical corrugation of a thin-walled metal tube. The pitch and depth of the corrugations determine the flexibility of the hose, its resistance to deformation, and its ability to operate under vacuum conditions. Complete assemblies are standardly supplied with fittings matched to the installation. The design of steel pressure hoses allows them to be used for transporting media under pressure, such as hot water, steam, oils, chemicals, liquefied and volatile gases.

Why steel hoses in automotive?

The robust design of steel hoses combines exceptional durability with flexibility, enabling safe operation in conditions where traditional hoses cannot meet the requirements:

  • Thermal resistance – up to 650°C (depending on the type).
  • Vibration resistance – stability under vibration of the engine and chassis components.
  • Long service life – reduces replacement frequency and maintenance costs.
  • Safety – reliability in critical systems.
  • Compatibility – easy integration with existing systems.
  • This is a solution for vehicle manufacturers and service workshops that focus on top quality, elimination of failures, and customer satisfaction.

PTFE hoses

PTFE Teflon hoses

PTFE (Teflon) hoses – reliable solutions for the automotive industry.

The automotive industry places exceptionally high demands on material resistance, safety, and system reliability. Vehicle production, test systems, cooling systems, and modern electromobility involve operating in high-temperature conditions, the presence of aggressive media, oils, fuels, and process gases. In such applications PTFE (Teflon) hoses are a solution that performs well where standard materials do not meet the operational requirements.

Due to the unique properties of PTFE, these hoses are widely used in the automotive industry, including in installations for:

  • transfer of hydraulic oils and lubricants in high-temperature systems,
  • brake and hydraulic systems, where resistance to pressure, temperature, and stability of operating parameters are required,
  • fuel systems, including applications operating with new generation fuels and chemically aggressive media,
  • cooling systems for batteries, power electronics, and electric vehicle (EV) components,
  • transfer of glycol, coolants, and technological media,
  • conduction of technical gases and steam in production processes and test stands,
  • application of paints and adhesives – the smooth inner surface prevents substances from sticking and facilitates line flushing,
  • robotics and control pneumatics – as flexible pneumatic hoses in high-temperature zones,
  • fluid dispensing systems – for precise filling of vehicle systems with brake fluid, coolant, or oils.

Key advantages of PTFE hoses in automotive applications:

  • resistance to most chemicals, including fuels, oils, glycols, acids, bases, and industrial solvents,
  • ability to operate in a wide temperature range from –70°C to +260°C,
  • very smooth inner surface limiting the accumulation of deposits and contaminants,
  • resistance to aging, oxidation, UV radiation, and weather conditions,
  • high pressure resistance and durability under demanding operating conditions,
  • low media permeability, important e.g. in fuel and cooling systems.

Depending on the application requirements, Tubes International offers PTFE hoses smooth or convoluted, with various types of steel braids and fittings, tailored to the specifics of production processes and the requirements of modern automotive industry.

These are solutions ensuring safe, durable, and reliable media transport – from classic hydraulic and brake systems to advanced battery cooling systems in electric vehicles.

Heated hoses

Electrically heated hoses are widely used in the automotive industry wherever it is required to maintain a stable temperature of the medium and preserve appropriate flow parameters. They are used, among others, in dispensing processes, application of adhesives, paints, resins, lubricants, oils, and other technological media used in the production of vehicles and automotive components.

These solutions ensure high resistance to working pressure and temperature, enabling safe transport of the medium without the risk of cooling, change in viscosity, or system clogging. The hoses are available in various lengths and configurations, with the possibility of using many types of fittings, protective sleeves, outer braids, and temperature sensors such as PT100, type K and J thermocouples, and others.

In the automotive industry, heated hoses are used, among others, in assembly lines, industrial automation systems, and technological media dispensing systems, where reliability, process precision, and repeatability of operating parameters are of key importance. Heated hoses using a heating medium are also available, offered as complete hose assemblies with appropriately selected fittings and equipment.
