VISIFLON TO braidless Teflon hose
The unbraided version TO (Tube Only) of the VISIFLON hose, made of high-quality spiral corrugated PTFE (right-handed), provides exceptional flexibility, elasticity, and vibration resistance among Teflon hoses. The VISIFLON TO hose can be used for the transfer of chemicals, foodstuffs, fuels, oils, paints, solvents, adhesives, dyes, and detergents under very low pressure conditions. The standard version of VISIFLON TO is made of natural, translucent PTFE, allowing for visual flow control. The antistatic version VISIFLON TO AS made of carbon-infused Teflon (black) ensures the dissipation and dispersion of electric charges for substances and conditions at risk of static electricity. The hose material meets FDA requirements (21 CFR 177.1550 for VISIFLON TO, 21 CFR 178.3297 for VISIFLON TO AS). It is flame-retardant (UL94 V-0) and has a high oxygen index (LOI). Hose assembly requires straightening the corrugations along the length of the tail of the fitting, performed on special equipment. The fittings can then be installed by crimping with stainless steel ferrules. The working pressure value for the unbraided VISIFLON Teflon hose applies only up to a temperature of 100°C, and in the case of vacuum, up to a temperature of 80°C. Above these temperatures, there is a decrease in working pressure and vacuum. If the hose is to be used above these temperatures, this must be taken into account, and appropriate tests should be conducted under operating conditions. Hose material: spiral corrugated PTFE (Teflon). Operating temperature: from -70°C to +100°C (up to +230°C). Working pressure: from 2 bar to 4 bar – depending on the hose diameter.
