The FLOWSAFE float has been designed for all hoses used in the marine industry. This particularly applies to supply hoses in connections between the vessel and the drilling platform. Thanks to the floats, the hoses remain on the water's surface, preventing damage from the vessel's propeller and allowing the floating unit to maneuver. The float can also serve as a protective cover for the hose. It can be used for both pressure hoses (without a spiral) and suction-pressure hoses (with a steel spiral) in sizes 3", 4", and 5". It is secured with stainless steel clamps placed in the grooves of the float. When using floats for pressure hoses, a special steel hose must also be used to attach the float to the hose and prevent its displacement when the hose is being handled and is not under pressure.
