Shell clamp for installation of steam ends, SSC
Heavy Duty shell clamps in an economical version are primarily intended for rubber hoses for steam, for mounting SSF type steam fittings. Manufactured according to EN 14423 (DIN 2826). Screws and nuts made of galvanized steel (for brass clamps), made of stainless steel (for stainless steel clamps). The clamp must be selected according to the inner diameter of the hose and the wall thickness of the hose according to the nominal size of the clamp, so that the outer diameter of the mounted hose fits within the specified range for the clamp. Preliminary tightening of the clamp requires the use of long auxiliary screws. Material: AISI 316 steel, brass. Operating temperature: up to +230°C. Working pressure: 18 bar (+210°C) – saturated steam, other applications: selection in contact with TUBES INTERNATIONAL®.
