Strong hose suction – delivery intended for conveying and handling crude oil, petrochemical products and drill cuttings mixed with crude oil (up to 50% aromatic compounds). Layer inner with black, smooth blend rubber NBR/PVC. Reinforcement layers strength cord synthetic and spiral steel. It has copper wires ensuring electrical continuity between the hose ends – provided they are correctly connected to the ends. Layer outer with rubber chloroprene CR, flame-retardant, resistant to oil, water sea, abrasion and conditions atmospheric. Designed as a specialist OFFSHORE hose for use on drilling platforms. Widely used on North Sea platforms, successfully used in onshore applications. On special order available also versions o higher pressure working (20 / 27 / 30 / 35 bar), with specified force breaking at tension (maximum for 2T for 2”, 4T for 3” and 7T for 4”, 5” and 6”) and with approval type ABS ( American Bureau of Shipping Type Approval ) for complete line. Inner layer: black NBR rubber/PVC. Reinforcement: cord synthetic, steel spiral. Outer layer: black rubber CR. Working pressure: from 17 bar to 20 bar – depending on the diameter hose. Operating temperature: od -20°C up to +90°C.
