Lightweight transparent smooth-walled hose made of natural (non-regenerated) fluoropolymer PFA (perfluoroalkoxy), a material with properties similar to PTFE. The hose features excellent chemical resistance, dimensional and shape thermal stability, a very smooth, micropore-free internal and external surface, high pressure resistance, and crack resistance due to excessive stress. Good transparency of the hose allows for easy observation of level or flow. UV resistant. Designed for low-pressure installations of aggressive chemicals or when high purity and chemical inertness of the hose material are required. Commonly used in laboratories, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Due to its excellent insulating properties (dielectric strength 3 to 4 times greater than PTFE), it is used in the electronics and semiconductor industries. The hose is not antistatic (does not dissipate electric charges for non-conductive substances). Not recommended for pneumatic plug connections. Flame retardant (UL94 V-0) and with a high oxygen index (LOI). Safety factor n = 4:1. The burst and working pressure of the hose decreases at operating temperatures above 20°C and is dependent on its height. Hose material: PFA. Shore hardness (D) 60. Operating temperature: from -200°C to +260°C. Working pressure: from 7 bar to 19.5 bar - depending on the diameter and wall thickness of the hose.

The hose is made of a smooth, seamless PTFE tube. The Teflon tube of the hose is extruded under strictly defined and controlled conditions, ensuring its highest quality, minimal porosity, and maximum flexibility and elasticity achievable for a smooth PTFE hose. The heavy-duty HW version is recommended for harsher working conditions, gases (up to 100 bar), and applications where there are cyclic temperature changes. The braid is made of annealed AISI 304 stainless steel wire with a high tensile strength of 1700 N/mm², with a strictly controlled angle of arrangement and tension of the braid wire bundles, resulting in minimal length changes of the hose under high pressure. Due to the unique properties of PTFE (wide temperature range, resistance to most substances and chemical compounds, negligible surface adhesion), the SMOOTHBORE hose is perfectly suited for the transfer of chemicals, foodstuffs, fuels, oils, paints, solvents, adhesives, dyes, detergents, steam, etc. - as well as for classic high-pressure hydraulic oil installations. In cases where there is a risk of static electricity (danger of charge generation and accumulation), SMOOTHBORE hoses made of antistatic Teflon should be used – the antistatic version AS. The antistatic Teflon of version AS is black (contains appropriately distributed carbon in PTFE) and has a resistance R <10⁸ Ω (according to ISO 8031 annex A). This ensures the dissipation and dispersion of electric charges. The safety factor is 3:1; if a 4:1 factor is required (e.g., according to EN 16643), the values should be multiplied by 0.75. At operating temperatures above +130°C, the maximum working pressure specified in the parameters should be reduced by 0.75% for each 1°C above this temperature. For example, at a temperature of 170°C, the maximum working pressure for the hose AF-HWDB-10 is: 240 bar – (170°C-130°C) x 0.75 = 240 bar – 30% = 168 bar. The value "Wall thickness [mm]" provided in the Technical Data refers to the PTFE layer. Hose material: smooth PTFE (Teflon). Reinforcement: double braid of AISI 304 steel. Working pressure: from 40 bar to 350 bar - depending on the hose diameter. Operating temperature: from -70°C to +260°C.

Thick, strong, and flexible pressure hose with steel reinforcement and an outer layer resistant to oil, for conveying saturated and superheated steam. The inner layer has good resistance to high temperature and saturated steam. It can be temporarily used for superheated steam at a temperature of 232°C and pressure of 18 bar; prolonged use with superheated steam reduces the hose's lifespan. The outer layer is resistant to oil, temperature, weather conditions, abrasion, and aging. The hose is used in the chemical, petrochemical, and energy industries, and in other industrial applications, particularly where resistance of the outer layer to oils, greases, and other petrochemical products is required. It is not intended for steam cleaners ("dry steam cleaners"). For steam, use special screw-on fittings designed for steam. To extend lifespan, the hose should be emptied of steam after use to avoid condensate accumulation. The VAPOFER EN ISO 6134 hose is antistatic (R ≤106Ω), compliant with standard EN ISO 6134/05 type 2 class B (Ω). Standard length: 60 m (or 120 m - contact Tubes International). Inner layer: black EPDM rubber. Reinforcement: double steel wire braid. Outer layer: black synthetic rubber, microperforated. Working pressure: 18 bar. Operating temperature: from -40°C to +210°C (temporarily up to +232°C).
