Steel hoses and pipes
Steel hoses – reliable in extreme metallurgical and smelting conditions.
In metallurgical and smelting processes, installations are exposed to high temperatures, pressure, vibrations, and aggressive media and process gases. In such conditions, it is necessary to use solutions with the highest durability and resistance. Tubes International steel hoses meet these requirements, ensuring reliability and safety even in the most demanding applications.
There are two main types of steel hoses available: Stripwound steel hoses and pressure hoses, each designed with the specific industrial processes in steelworks and steel mills in mind.
Stripwound steel hoses:
- designed for the discharge of gases, exhaust fumes, vapors, and hot air,
- resistant to extreme temperatures and atmospheric conditions,
- remain flexible while offering very high mechanical durability,
- used in ventilation, dust extraction, and exhaust gas removal systems in steelworks and foundries.
Pressure steel hoses:
- made of corrugated steel hose reinforced with stainless steel braiding,
- resistant to high pressures and dynamic temperature changes,
- designed for the transport of steam, oils, technical gases, and aggressive process media,
- used in heating, gas, and hydraulic systems in metallurgy and metalworking processes.
Thanks to their robust construction, steel hoses combine exceptional durability with flexibility, enabling safe operation in conditions where traditional rubber or plastic hoses are unable to meet the requirements.
They are an irreplaceable solution for plants that focus on uninterrupted operation, resistance to extreme factors, and long service life of installations.

DIN 3015 clamps
Clamps for pipes, cables, and hoses – secure fastening in steel and metallurgical installations
In steelworks and metallurgical plants, reliable fastening of pipes, hoses, and cables is crucial for ensuring the safety and stability of installations.
Tubes International clamps are designed for use in harsh industrial environments, providing durability, vibration resistance, and high temperature performance.
The clamps are suitable for quick, easy, and neat installation of pipes and cables in above-ground, process, steelmaking, and power installations.
Manufactured in accordance with DIN 3015, they guarantee full compatibility and safe operation.
The clamps can be mounted to structures by welding the base, screwing, or fixing to a mounting rail, allowing the solution to be adapted to various types of industrial systems.
Available versions:
- standard, heavy-duty, and double – adapted to different loads and operating conditions,
- four types of clamp insert materials:
– PP (green) – for standard industrial applications,
– PA (black) – with increased mechanical strength,

CAMLOCK / SAFLOK® fittings
CAMLOCK couplings – a universal and reliable solution for quick hose connections
The name CAMLOCK couplings comes from their characteristic cam-lock closing system. Thanks to the fact that no specialized tools are required to operate them, they have found applications in a wide range of industries – from large chemical plants to small-scale, domestic installations.
The couplings are manufactured in accordance with the American military standard MIL-C-27487 (currently A-A-59326) and the European standard EN 14420-7 (formerly DIN 2828). Since the two standards do not fully overlap, special attention should be paid to couplings in sizes ½”, 5”, 6”, and 8”, as couplings from different manufacturers may not be fully compatible. In such cases, it is recommended to use a matching set (male and female) from the same manufacturer.
Thanks to their versatility and simple design, CAMLOCK couplings are used in low-pressure applications for the transfer of liquids (such as fuels or chemicals), bulk materials (powders, granules), and even foodstuffs, despite not being specifically designed for the latter applications.
In more critical applications, to prevent accidental uncoupling, a special variant such as SAFLOK® couplings can be used. Thanks to a patented handle design equipped with a spring-loaded latch system, the coupling is secured against unintended opening without the need for any additional accessories. When the handles are closed, the latches lock automatically. To unlock the coupling, the latches must be pulled back. SAFLOK® couplings are fully compatible with other CAMLOCK couplings manufactured according to MIL-C-27487.
Our offer includes:
Rubber expansion joints
Compensators – flexible connections for demanding metallurgical and metalworking installations
In industrial installations used in metallurgy and metalworking, ensuring the reliability of pipelines operating under high temperatures, vibrations, pressure, and sudden load changes is of paramount importance. In such applications, compensators play a key role in protecting the installation from damage and extending its service life.
Compensators consist of a flexible bellows made of high-quality elastomers, reinforced with synthetic or steel cords, and connecting elements – most commonly steel flanges – which provide a secure and tight connection to the pipeline.
Functions of expansion joints in metallurgical installations:
- compensation for thermal expansion of pipelines due to temperature changes,
- correction of misalignment and installation deviations,
- isolation of vibrations from pumps, turbines, motors, or fans,
- noise reduction and absorption of hydraulic shock energy,
- protection of structures and installation components against excessive loads.
Compensators are used in pipelines transporting air, cooling water, oils, technical gases, sewage, and chemical media. They are installed in pumps, compressors, fans, furnaces, turbines, and other equipment operating under high temperature and vibration conditions.
Thanks to their design, compensators enhance the reliability and durability of installations, minimizing the risk of failure and costly production downtime.
