Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page / DetailsLow-pressure suction and discharge hose with a transparent inner layer made of chemically resistant PFA and a thick outer layer made of transparent silicone. Designed for various applications in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, and chemical industries, where, in addition to the highest purity, aseptic conditions, and chemical resistance, observation of medium flow is required. The inner layer is made of perfluoroalkoxy polymer PFA (fluoropolymer with properties similar to Teflon), transparent, mirror-smooth, odorless and tasteless, chemically inert, meeting high hygiene requirements (FDA, USP, European EU). Reinforcement with a stainless steel spiral provides good resistance to vacuum. The thick outer layer made of platinum-cured silicone with a smooth surface features non-stick properties (the hose does not "stick") and a low coefficient of friction. It can be easily cleaned using a mild detergent. The hose design combines the advantages of PFA with the flexibility of silicone and its temperature resistance. The hose has a small minimum bend radius, is flexible and elastic at low and elevated temperatures, resistant to cyclic bending according to ASTM D 2176 and dynamic loads. Standards and hygiene requirements: inner layer: USP Class VI, 3-A Sanitary Standards 18-03 Class I, 10/2011/EU, FDA, ISO 10993-4, -10, -11, non-cytotoxic (ISO 10993 Part 5), ICH Q3D; outer layer: USP Class VI, 3-A Sanitary Standards 18-03 Class I, D.M. 21/03/73, FDA, BfR, European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9, ISO 10993-4, -10, -11, non-cytotoxic (ISO 10993 Part 5). The hose complies with 1935/2004/EC, 2023/2006/EC (GMP), manufactured in Cleanroom ISO 14644-1 Class 8, free from phthalates, adipates, nitrosamines, animal-derived substances, substances subject to EC 1907/2006 (REACH). Confirmation of resistance and conditions of use requires contact with Tubes International. For confirmation of resistance and conditions of use, please contact Tubes International. Installation: use fittings with a smooth spigot ("tail" for the hose) that do not have sharp or high ribs that could cut or damage the inner PFA layer when tightened. The diameter of the spigot should be precisely matched to the diameter of the hose to ensure sealing. Installation with clamp sleeves or bands (clamps). Inner layer: transparent PFA polymer. Reinforcement: AISI 302 stainless steel spiral. Outer layer: transparent silicone. Working pressure: from 1 bar to 3 bar, depending on the hose diameter. Operating temperature: from -30°C to +150°C.
