Adaptors and accessories are essentials parts of any hydraulic systems that allow connection of quick release couplings and hose assemblies. Hydraulic blocks are different types of adaptors that have the same functions as e.g. tees and four way pieces in standard hydraulics. Sealing between elements is achieved with the use of PTFE tape, liquid sealant, metal-rubber seal or metal-metal sealing (tapper thread 120° or 60°). Both adaptors or hydraulic blocks are made of galvanised carbon steel.
