Thermal protection hose covers – general information

Thermal protection elements made of fibre glass or silica fibre (fully resistant to fire). Available in sheets, „sleeve” or tape version.

Depending on type maximal working temperature is +982°C (with peaks up to +1650°C). Widely used in steelworks, glass works, ironworks, foundries (silicone coated fibre glass). Special type of „sleeve” with construction that allows expansion and shrinkage by 25% to fit the required hose diameter is available on request.
