The HYPERLINE V (VISIFLON) hose is made of high-quality spiral corrugated PTFE, providing exceptional flexibility, elasticity, and vibration resistance among Teflon hoses. Like any Teflon hose, due to the unique properties of PTFE (wide operating temperature range, resistance to most substances and chemical compounds, minimal surface adhesion), the VISIFLON hose is perfectly suited for the transfer of chemicals, foodstuffs, fuels, oils, paints, solvents, adhesives, dyes, detergents, steam, etc. In cases where there is a risk of static electricity (danger of charge generation and accumulation), VISIFLON hoses made of antistatic Teflon – the antistatic version AS – should be used. Antistatic Teflon is black (contains appropriately distributed graphite in PTFE) and has a resistance of R<108Ω (according to ISO 8031 annex A). This ensures the dissipation and dispersion of electric charges. The selection of the hose in the standard version made of natural PTFE or in the antistatic version should be confirmed with Tubes International. The SS version braid is made of annealed AISI 304 stainless steel wire and provides high pressure resistance. At operating temperatures above +130°C, the maximum working pressure should be reduced by 1% for every 1°C increase in temperature. Available versions of the inner layer: standard (natural white) and antistatic (black). Hose material: spiral corrugated PTFE (Teflon). Reinforcement: AISI 304 steel braid. Working pressure: from 20 bar to 60 bar - depending on the hose diameter. Operating temperature: from -70°C to +230°C. Resistant to full vacuum up to a temperature of: +130°C.

The hose is made of a smooth, seamless PTFE tube. The Teflon tube of the hose is extruded under strictly defined and controlled conditions, ensuring its highest quality, minimal porosity, and maximum flexibility and elasticity achievable for a smooth PTFE hose. The braid is made of annealed AISI 304 stainless steel wire with a high tensile strength of 1700 N/mm², with a strictly controlled angle of arrangement and tension of the braid wire bundles, resulting in minimal length changes of the hose under high pressure. Due to the unique properties of PTFE (wide operating temperature range, resistance to most substances and chemical compounds, negligible surface adhesion), the SMOOTHBORE hose is perfectly suited for the transfer of chemicals, foodstuffs, fuels, oils, paints, solvents, adhesives, dyes, detergents, steam, etc. - as well as for classic high-pressure hydraulic oil installations. In cases where there is a risk of static electricity (danger of charge generation and accumulation), SMOOTHBORE hoses made of antistatic Teflon should be used – the antistatic version AS. The antistatic Teflon of version AS is black (contains appropriately distributed carbon in PTFE) and has a resistance R <10⁸ Ω (according to ISO 8031 annex A). This ensures the dissipation and dispersion of electric charges. The safety factor is 3:1; if a factor of 4:1 is required (e.g., according to EN 16643), the values should be multiplied by 0.75. At operating temperatures above +130°C, the maximum working pressure specified in the parameters should be reduced by 0.75% for each 1°C above this temperature. For example, at a temperature of 170ºC, the maximum working pressure for the hose AF-SWSB-06 is: 240 bar – (170°C-130°C) x 0.75 = 240 bar – 30% = 168 bar. The value "Wall thickness [mm]" provided in the Technical Data refers to the PTFE layer. Hose material: smooth PTFE (Teflon). Reinforcement: single braid of AISI 304 steel. Working pressure: from 55 bar to 240 bar - depending on the hose diameter. Operating temperature: from -70°C to +260°C.

The unbraided version TO (Tube Only) of the VISIFLON hose, made of high-quality spiral corrugated PTFE (right-handed), provides exceptional flexibility, elasticity, and vibration resistance among Teflon hoses. The VISIFLON TO hose can be used for the transfer of chemicals, foodstuffs, fuels, oils, paints, solvents, adhesives, dyes, and detergents under very low pressure conditions. The standard version of VISIFLON TO is made of natural, translucent PTFE, allowing for visual flow control. The antistatic version VISIFLON TO AS made of carbon-infused Teflon (black) ensures the dissipation and dispersion of electric charges for substances and conditions at risk of static electricity. The hose material meets FDA requirements (21 CFR 177.1550 for VISIFLON TO, 21 CFR 178.3297 for VISIFLON TO AS). It is flame-retardant (UL94 V-0) and has a high oxygen index (LOI). Hose assembly requires straightening the corrugations along the length of the tail of the fitting, performed on special equipment. The fittings can then be installed by crimping with stainless steel ferrules. The working pressure value for the unbraided VISIFLON Teflon hose applies only up to a temperature of 100°C, and in the case of vacuum, up to a temperature of 80°C. Above these temperatures, there is a decrease in working pressure and vacuum. If the hose is to be used above these temperatures, this must be taken into account, and appropriate tests should be conducted under operating conditions. Hose material: spiral corrugated PTFE (Teflon). Operating temperature: from -70°C to +100°C (up to +230°C). Working pressure: from 2 bar to 4 bar - depending on the hose diameter.
