Designed for fuel installations of stationary engines on ships, motorboats, yachts, etc. Suitable for unleaded gasoline, gasoline with up to 10% ethanol (E10 gasoline), diesel fuel, and diesel fuel with 10% FAME esters (B10 - biodiesel). Compliant with ISO 7840 type A1 (fire-resistant, fuel vapor permeability less than or equal to 100 g/m²/24 h), compliant with directive 94/25/EC, certified by RINA, compliant with SAE 1527, USCG type A1. Inner layer made of black, smooth synthetic rubber, resistant to oils and fuels with up to 50% aromatic hydrocarbon content. Reinforced with layers of synthetic cord, and for the POSEIDON LL hose, additionally with a steel spiral. Outer layer made of black, self-extinguishing synthetic rubber, resistant to oil and weather conditions (fire resistance: ISO 7840 Annex A: hose filled with fuel should withstand flame for 2.5 min). POSEIDON: The POSEIDON hose is a soft pressure hose without reinforcement with a steel spiral. The manufacturer recommends installing POSEIDON hoses with a diameter of over 19 mm in straight sections or with a gentle (large) bend radius. The hose is particularly used in the fuel tank filling installation of boats. POSEIDON hose with smaller diameters of 6, 8, 10, 13, 16, and 19 mm, with a working pressure of 10 bar, is available on special order. POSEIDON LL: The POSEIDON LL hose additionally has reinforcement with a steel spiral, providing resistance to vacuum and kinking. The hose is very flexible, with a minimum bend radius corresponding to just three times the inner diameter and can be easily installed in tight spaces of the boat's engine compartment. Its versatility and high quality make it frequently used by manufacturers of larger motor yachts. Standard length: 60 m (or 120 m - contact Tubes International). Inner layer: black synthetic rubber. Reinforcement: synthetic cord (POSEIDON); synthetic cord, steel spiral (POSEIDON LL). Outer layer: synthetic rubber. Working pressure: 10 bar. Operating temperature: from -30°C to +100°C.

SPIRABEL® OIL suction and discharge hose

All products | Oil and petroleum hoses
Light and flexible suction and discharge hose made of a special oil-resistant PVC blend. Designed for the transfer of mineral oils and hydrocarbons as well as industrial water, wastewater, liquid fertilizers, and certain chemicals – particularly where enhanced PVC resistance to hydrocarbons is required. Not suitable for aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.). Can be used for some chemical products – diluted acids, bases, and alcohols. The hose maintains its flexibility even at negative working temperatures, and its lightweight and small bending radius ensure convenience and ease of handling. Reinforced with a hard PVC spiral, impact-resistant, providing very good vacuum resistance and preventing hose collapse. Smooth inner and outer surface. Resistant to UV radiation, ozone, weather conditions, and abrasion. Widely used in industry, agriculture, construction, and roadworks. As a hose reinforced with a hard PVC spiral (without a braid), it exhibits some elongation under pressure, which should be considered in applications, especially at temperatures above 40°C. Hose material: blue PVC. Reinforcement: white hard PVC spiral. Working pressure: from 2 bar to 5 bar - depending on the hose diameter. Working temperature: from -25°C to +60°C.
